Extremely thin kerf with a smooth finish of the cut. Used it to cut a bit thicker than 10mm (1/2“) (hardwood, ash, too) so far, cuts relatively fast - for its 7 teeth/cm (19 TPI) .
I purchased a Nakaya 210mm extra fine rip saw. It works extremely well for cutting dovetails or box joints in material 1/4 inch or thinner. Cuts like a breeze
